                           Cruising

If you are feeling a little more adventurous why not try one of our three day cross Channel cruises. Whether you are looking to gain mileage and experience towards your RYA sailing qualifications, or want to try something more challenging than our “Fun Days.”

You can experience the thrill of sailing a full commercial specification ocean going yacht “off shore” to the north coast of France, with up to six others. We can tailor the trip to your requirements, whether you want to sit back and enjoy the cruise, or take an active part and get involved with the navigation and watch keeping duties. All under the experienced eye of your Yachtmaster skipper.

Typically we would normally depart from our birth in the Solent at around 00:00hrs Friday morning (Midnight Thursday). Depending on the tides. Reaching the famous Needles lighthouse some two hours later. Then heading south across the channel for between 10 and 15 hours, watching the sunrise and arriving at the French coast around lunchtime. Then its time to go ashore and enjoy the local hospitality. You can stay ashore or sleep aboard the yacht during your visit. We normally set sail for our return passage on the Saturday evening, again depending on the tides. Hopefully with a wonderful sunset to sail into. Arriving back in the Solent by Sunday afternoon.

Prices from £300 per head.
